I feel like I don't recognize my country anymore. 

I grew up in Western Maryland. I mean there were homeless people there...people who lived at the mission. ..but the first people I really realized were homeless were in DC. And many of them were Veterans.  I was born in the early 1970s.   Vietnam veterans. Many were just broken in ways people don't go back together. 

Trump is inhumane. He doesn't see people as humans.  He is making America inhumane.

There are certain tools that are used for every fascist takeover. You need 1) a personally loyal police force 2) a disinformation campaign 3) an external enemy to theoretically protect people from and 4) you need an internal group to do unspeakably cruel things to. That is where this is headed.
